Tactic: Duke Ellington's "Afro Bossa" album. However, when Reid heard Tom's initial midi demo he said, "It kind of sounds like the backing music for a corporate sizzle reel." Tom contacted Jonathan and said can you do an 80's cassette tape corporate groove. Jonathan had been listening to the score for the original "Terminator" film and said he would go in that direction. Tom rewrote the lyrics for the sales pitch. Finally, Jonathan distressed the sound to create the malfunctioning cassette tape effect.
