Tactic: Jean-Claude Vannier is producing “Histoire de Melody Nelson” in 1970. Brigitte Bardot has shown up at the studio for a cameo but Serge Gainsbourg is sleeping off a bender somewhere that morning. Vannier uses the session to record “Something” from the recent Beatles' album. Later in the 1990’s, a trip hop producer is doing a remix of the track. U2’s Bono drops in to record a vocal for the bridge.
